NUXALK PROJECTS - FALL 2007
This third rendition of Our World in Bella Coola continues to use digital storytelling as means of expression. This time we were fortunate to have filmmaker Lisa Jackson on board to help as a "story mentor" to help some of the youth work on personal stories in addition to traditional and educational videos. Many of the youth that participated were returnees & hence had skills to build upon.
We again integrated the use of the Nuxalk language. The result of this 8-day intensive was a rich collection animation & digital storytelling that celebrate a variety of styles, interests and stories!
