Biography
Carla Coma is a contemporary artist from Calgary, Alberta, who uses whimsical taxidermy and insects as subjects in stop-motion animation. Her work is a moving cabinet of wonders with oddities that are both angelic and haunting. Through her skills in animation, performance, film and music, she is a jack of all trades in expressing her world of the grotesque.
